7 Reasons Why The Undertaker Should Retire For Good

5. His Match At WrestleMania 30 Wasn't That Good

With all due respect to Undertaker, his match with Brock Lesnar wasn't that great. Maybe it's unfair of us to have such high expectations for an older guy like him, but his matches at the previous five WrestleManias were among the best WrestleMania matches ever. If you just watch the match with Lesnar from a technical standpoint and in terms of building up drama for the match, they really didn't click. Their matches from over a decade earlier were much better. Sometimes the chemistry isn't great and the match just doesn't flow well. There were times when the crowd got really up for certain spots. The problem was that they just didn't do enough nearfalls to get the fans really into the story they were telling. Fans had gotten used to that in these Undertaker matches. If his last match wasn't that great then why should he come back for more? Maybe the competitor in him wants to have another match to better the last one, but it's also a sign that he is slipping due to many other factors.
