7 Reasons Why Sting Is WCW's Biggest Ever Star

1. Never Leaving WCW Is Why His WWE Debut In 2014 Is Huge

The fact that Sting never left WCW while they were competing with WCW and even in the last 13 years he hasn't gone to WWE. Think about every big name that WCW has ever had like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Lex Luger, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Steiner, The Giant and Rey Mysterio to name a few. All of them either worked for WWE while they were competing with them or went there after WCW folded. Even Eric Bischoff went to WWE and he was a guy that said he had a goal to take the food off Vince McMahon's table because he wanted to beat them so bad. Everybody that was considered a major player in WCW worked for WWE at some point except Sting. That's why we're sitting here in 2014 marking out over the fact that he's in the WWE2K15 video game, he made an appearance for Mattel at the San Diego Comic Con last week and he's probably going to be on WWE TV later this year or early next year. A match at WrestleMania seems likely too. Those fans that never saw him wrestle in WCW might have seen him in TNA in the last decade, but that wasn't the same. It was the WCW version of Sting that kids looked up to and adults paid money to see more than anybody in WCW history. Since Sting has stayed away from WWE for so long the mystique is still there. What might he do when he gets there? We have no idea at this point, but we are pretty excited about because after all there's only one Sting.
