4. Any Entertainment Company Is Competing Against Others
The UFC is in direct competition with WWE just like the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Premier League football and really any other sports league. They all perform in arenas all over the world and are going after our dollars. We pay them to entertain us. Think about your role as a consumer. What if WWE & UFC are in your town at the same time as your local NFL & NBA team. You're living on a tight budget, so you can't go to all four events. You can only pick one event to spend $60 because if you spend more that's going over your limit. You would be making a choice. That's competition right there. To further that point, somebody could say that any rock band is also competing with WWE because they are going after the money of the consumer. It's true. In the case of UFC they're a company that doesn't run as many shows as WWE so if UFC is in your area you might be more willing to go since you know they don't come around as often.
