When AJ ascended the diva rankings from a girl that was on NXT to Daniel Bryan's girlfriend that ended up as the top diva, she was often considered the "diva of the future." She said it herself at the Slammys that she showed you can be the best without looking or dressing like a traditional diva. That's part of the reason people like her so much. That was before Paige arrived, though. Paige is younger (22 to 27), she's a better all around wrestler and she has a very good personality too. If you look at their match history before WWE or in WWE, Paige has better matches of the two. As good as AJ has been, Paige is probably going to end up the diva that WWE builds around for the next decade. She's a wrestling lifer. Her parents are wrestlers. She was wrestling as a teenager. If AJ leaves, WWE will be fine because they have Paige there to take her place as a face or a heel. She's not the only one, either.
