7 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Give Up On The Current WWE Product Completely

5. Alexa Bliss And Nikki Cross

Although this can technically be included with Bayley's reign as SmackDown Women's champion since Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are currently feuding with her, I'd constitute this as its own story because of how it's been playing out on both shows for a few months now.

Before befriending Bliss, Cross was a nobody on the Raw roster. She went un-drafted in the 2019 Superstar Shake-up and lurked in the shadows without any sense of direction until an injury to Bliss led to Cross taking her spot in the women's Money in the Bank Ladder match. That kicked off a fun angle between the two that has seen Bliss manipulate Cross into doing her bidding for her over the last two months.

Despite Bliss' history of using people like Nia Jax and Mickie James to her advantage before kicking them to the curb, Cross refuses to believe Bayley when she says that Bliss is no real friend of hers. Cross even beat Bayley on a recent episode of SmackDown Live, which will hopefully lead to her being included in the SmackDown Women's title match at Extreme Rules.

It's nice to see some real storyline development with the women in WWE at a time when there is so little of it on Raw and SmackDown.
