7 Reasons WWE Fans Don't Care About John Cena Vs. Randy Orton
3. Their Royal Rumble 2014 Match Was A Disaster
When WWE main eventers have big matches they often times follow a formula where they kick out of finishing moves at two and sometimes even steal the finishing move of the other guy in order to create great false finishes. Orton defended the WWE Title against Cena at the Royal Rumble earlier this year and within a few minutes, fans chanted "boring" at them. There were also chants of "Y2J" even though he wasn't there as well as "Randy Savage" chants for the former WWE Champion that passed away a few years ago. There were several "Daniel Bryan" chants too because fans felt he should have been in a match like that. When fans chant things completely unrelated to what's going on in the ring it's their way of saying they don't care. They did all the tricks that main eventers usually do. Orton hit the Attitude Adjustment at one point while Cena hit the RKO. Those moves should have generated big reactions, but the fans didn't really care. When The Wyatt Family showed up to cost Cena the match, the fans cheered. They wanted anybody to show up to end it, even if they were heels like the Wyatt Family. The fact that the crowd completely rejected them shows that WWE shouldn't have gone back to this match. Instead, here we go again.
