2. Cesaro Could Benefit By Winning As A Heel And Then Turning Face Later
The biggest wildcard in the ladder match is Cesaro. Right now he's positioned as an upper midcard heel with Paul Heyman as his manager. He stopped doing the Cesaro Swing in every match because he was getting cheered for it too much, but when he turns face he'll likely do it all the time again. This heel run seems like a temporary thing. It's only a matter of time until he becomes one of the top three faces in WWE. The reason it makes sense for him to win as a heel is because his manager Paul Heyman could take credit for it and that would lead to Cesaro going face. Perhaps they can involve Brock Lesnar in it somehow with Heyman encouraging Cesaro to lose the title to Lesnar, which Cesaro refuses to do. It's a story that would work. If Cesaro beats all of these big names to win the WWE Title then he's going to be treated like a bigger deal no matter what role he is in.
