7 Reasons WWE Network Is Failing

4. Poor Job Of Promoting WWE Network Shows Like NXT

If you watch Raw and Smackdown weekly then you know it's five hours of WWE television that focuses on stars that are on the main roster. Here's an idea: Do a one minute video package on Raw titled "The NXT Minute." During a segment on Raw, have a one minute segment that shows what happened on the previous episode of NXT. End the segment by saying: "Catch the next episode of NXT on Thursday or any time you like in the archive€ONLY on WWE Network." It's that simple. Raw is three hours long and they spend so many segments recapping things we already watched. Instead, they should plug a show they have on their own WWE Network that a lot of fans love to watch. In addition to that, you could be sowing clips of Neville, Zayn, Itami and others to get people at home thinking: "I want to see what those guys are up to." The WWE NXT brand is great, but if you watch Raw and Smackdown only then you barely know it exists. You have 4 million eyeballs in America watching Raw on Monday nights. You have less than 1 million subscribers. Do the math. Promote NXT. That would be great for business.
