3. The $9.99 Monthly Network Price Is Good, But Advertising Is Terrible
There's really a disconnect with how WWE advertises the WWE Network. When Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are in the ring plugging the $9.99 price by saying "Nine Ninety Nine" in a condescending way, you're not promoting the WWE Network the way you should. Furthermore, these are heel characters promoting it. Fans don't like heels. Of course there are babyfaces like John Cena that will mention it too, but it's mostly the heels that talk about it. What about that $9.99 song they did? So annoying. If anything it makes me want to change the channel when they play that commercial because of how bad it is. They're currently doing a free month of November for brand new subscribers. How does that make those of us feel when we've been paying $9.99 US for the past eight months? We don't get a deal. We're paying for that month while reluctant users get it free. http://youtu.be/FqtZMNAkLgE When they advertise the WWE Network they mention things like getting PPVs, which is a great value, as well as special shows like the Monday Night Wars and things of that nature, but there's still not enough mention of everything you can get. The point is that WWE has overdone the advertising of the price. They should focus more on the content. Then after talking about the content for a minute, that's when you can say "it's only $9.99" instead of beating us over the head by talking about the price endlessly.
