7 Reasons WWE Payback PPV Has Died A Slow Death

6. Very Predictable Matches For "New" Performers

Rusev will likely face off with Big E and Adam Rose will probably take on Jack Swagger. Neither match is officially announced as of yet, but they're both likely to happen. It's very unlikely that Rusev would lose to Big E. They actually have a lot of common in that both guys spent a couple years in NXT, they are both power wrestlers that really aren't that tall and each guys have recently had their name shortened too. Big E has fallen off so much as somebody that was the IC Champ to a guy that is not expected to get pushed any time even though he's still in his 20s. The Adam Rose/Jack Swagger feud was started because of Rose's issues with Zeb Colter, who didn't like that Rose was a foreigner. Swagger's a guy that loses a lot of matches yet WWE keeps throwing him out there because he's been a champion in WWE before. It's fine to have one match that is basically a squash on a PPV. When there are two or more it gets boring really fast.
