7 Reasons WWE Roadblock May Outdo WrestleMania 32

1. Less Restrictions

One of the best things about Roadblock what is essentially a glorified live event is that they'll be free from many of the same restrictions that hamper WWE television shows and even pay-per-vews. Often times matches and angles are rushed through and the shows are inundated with endless recaps of things that just happened moments before, killing the momentum the shows manage to build. WrestleMania in particular suffers from the need to cram every single roster member onto the show for the Mania paydays, using them in battle royals and multi-man matches with very little actual rhyme or reason. Roadblock will not suffer from that, and thus the performers who are booked for the show will be given time to let their matches breathe. Veteran wrestlers often talk about how much more they enjoy the live events because of the freedom they're granted in their matches, and since this will be a Network-only event similar to Beast in the East and the MSG special, hopefully we'll see more bouts where the guys are given to go out and entertain the crowd without the usual restrictions. When you add all this up and couple it with the fact that the anticipation for this year's WrestleMania is at the lowest point it's been in recent memory - and yes I am aware that was said last year - you're looking at a show that has the potential to surpass the biggest stage of them all in quality and excitement. What do you think? Will Roadblock be a more enjoyable show than WrestleMania? What are you looking forward to most this Saturday? Let us know in the comments below!
