7 Reasons You Should Watch NJPW Dominion This Weekend
1. You Won't Feel Empty Afterward
Let's be real: it's been tough being a WWE fan the last few months. From lackluster cards to cringeworthy television segments to horrible misuse of their best talent, it's just been a taxing affair to sit through RAW and SmackDown each week. And that dip in quality has resulted in just poorer moods all around, with content from sites such as WhatCulture getting more and more bitter and agitated.
You rarely see such negativity when discussing New Japan because New Japan is wrestling for... well, wrestling fans. To paraphrase Jim Cornette, New Japan is a promotion for "Wrestling fans watching a wrestling show to see wrestlers wrestle." You don't see your favorite talents dragged in meandering, terrible angles. You don't see embarrassments such as the Sami Zayn-Bobby Lashley program. You see logical storytelling, a wide range of styles and characters, and some of the best wrestling in the history of the sport.
Obviously, WWE will snap out of its funk soon enough, and RAW will become watchable again, but in the meantime, why don't you treat yourself to something you'll really love? If you've been hesitant about checking out New Japan, this weekend's Dominion is definitely the place you wanna start.
