7 Record Book Changes That Happened At WWE Royal Rumble 2016
7. Rumble Appearances
Current record-holder Kane added on to his total Sunday with his 19th Royal Rumble appearance. That means that if he enters next years Rumble, he will have competed in two-thirds of all Rumble matches. That is crazy longevity. The next closest to Kane among active competitors are Goldust and Big Show, who moved into a tie for third Sunday with their 11th appearances. (Shawn Michaels is in second with 12 Rumbles.) Seeing how both men are winding down their careers, its doubtful they will catch Kane. The youngest wrestler who even is close to half Kanes total is Stardust (Cody Rhodes), who entered his ninth Rumble at age 30 on Sunday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxSTYmzmc8Y That means that Stardust would have to appear in at least 11 more Rumbles (provided this was Kanes last) to pass the Big Red Monster.
