7 Shocking (But Believable) Theories About WWE 2018

3. Brock Lesnar Departs

Brock Lesnar's current WWE deal should expire sometime around WrestleMania 34. If rumours are to be believed, that's where Brock will drop the Universal Title to one Roman Reigns before taking some time away from pro wrestling. What if that sabbatical is spent away from WWE's ring inside UFC's octagon cage once more?

When Brock retired from MMA following the fallout controversy of his fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200, it seemed he'd never be seen in that setting again. Lesnar is a warrior though, and he's achieved everything he can in WWE. That itch could realistically start getting at Brock again, and that means he could fight in 2018.

Right now, there's no clear sign of it, but that doesn't mean it won't happen for sure. If WWE continue flirting with Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor, UFC leader Dana White may feel he needs that big draw to pull in major box office. A return for the 'disgraced' Lesnar, who failed a drug test post-UFC 200, would be huge.

Even if he doesn't make a newsworthy MMA comeback, it still seems logical that Brock might depart WWE next year.
