7 Short-Lived WWE Shows You Forgot Existed
2. WWE Saturday Morning Slam
The WWE Universe has had a lot to say about the TV-PG Era, but did you know that the company once ventured down a TV-G era as well? Well, one of its programs did at least.
The most recent of WWE's short-lived gems, Saturday Morning Slam, hit our screens in 2012. Airing on The CW, it was geared much more towards children than any of company's main shows and, as a result, the violence was drastically curtailed and any moves that targeted the head or neck were forbidden.
Though it did occasionally feature top talent (Daniel Bryan popped up on it more than once), and showed more promise than other B-shows Superstars and Main Event, it only lasted a single season due to a disagreement between WWE and The CW over its future direction.
