7 Signs WWE Is Headed In The Right Direction

1. All The Stars Are Set to Return

While it's never a positive for a superstar to go down with an injury it does give them a chance to refresh their characters and build up anticipation for their eventual return. Absence does make the heart grow fonder, after all, and boy oh boy are we in store for some massive returns this year. Every champion walking out of last years WrestleMania is currently on the self, but there are two stars I want to talk about in particular. We'll start with internet darling Cesaro, who went down with a torn rotator cuff back in November in a case of bad news coming at a worse time as Cesaro was on an absolute roll before suffering the injury. He has proven time and time again that despite what WWE throws at him he will rise above it and shine brighter than any other "star" he gets matched up against. Perhaps Cesaro is forever meant to be what he as before his injury - a midcard star who would get smacked down any time he stepped up against a big dog. Or maybe WWE have finally realised exactly what they have in the Swiss Superman and give him his proper credence. One thing's for sure though, he'll get the second biggest return pop of the year. When former WWE Champion Seth Rollins makes his official return to WWE it's bound to cause one of the loudest reactions of the year. Everyone that's whining and complaining about Roman Reigns being forced on them as the new face of the company needs to relax as we're only about 4-5 short months away from the true future face making his triumphant return, perhaps even leading Reigns to his long-awaited heel turn. Even with one of the most exciting in-ring arsenals in the business, Seth still got himself over as a no-good weasel bad guy. Once he can go full face mode in the ring and on the mic we officially will have our next star to lead WWE back to the promise land. I can't wait.
