Alarmingly, sometimes the wrestlers do just ignore the idea that they are contractually tied down to either Raw or SmackDown. Look at Jason Jordan as a prime example. What did SmackDown gain once Kurt Angle revealed Jordan was his 'son' and took the American Alpha star to Raw? A blue brand tag-team was destroyed instantly and SmackDown was left without.

There's been a clear focus on pushing Raw as the 'A' show again recently. After that first Superstar Shakeup, WWE brought one of SmackDown's best feuds to Monday nights by transferring both The Miz and Dean Ambrose to Raw. Once more, SmackDown was left to pick up the pieces and move on like a good little dog.

This was a problem long before WWE decided to split the brands again. No, SmackDown isn't quite the Raw recap show it was before the extension, but it's getting close to becoming akin to a feeder for the flagship. Should wrestlers excel on Tuesdays, then expect them to be moved to Mondays. That's how fans are being conditioned to think.
