7 Stars Who Became Too Big For WWE

7. Chris Jericho

But Im Chris Jericho Chris Jericho has been in WWE for the last 15 years if you don't count the times he left the company. He has made a point to say that he didn't leave because he was upset about things or anything like that. It was more of a case of working a rigorous schedule for so long or simply having other things on his plate. Jericho has said on many occasions that when he was a kid he had a dream of being a wrestler and a rock star. Unlike a lot of people in this world, he lived his dream. His band Fozzy has had a lot of success in the last decade or so. It wasn't always easy, but he's a tireless worker and they've been a part of some huge rock events. Due to the success of Fozzy as well as other ventures such as acting as well hosting game shows, Jericho has felt the need to leave WWE three separate times. He came back in 2007, then again in 2012 and also in 2014. He's leaving again later this month due to commitments with Fozzy. Will he be back in WWE? Probably, but it's obvious that while he loves wrestling his mind and heart are elsewhere too. He's going to be 44 years old this year. At some point you have to stop taking all those back bumps. It makes sense that he would want to move on full time away from WWE and probably will very soon.
