7 Things You Should Know About WWE Royal Rumble 1995

7. The Undertaker Beat The Odds Again

What was with WWE booking Undertaker matches the same way all the time? They protected him so much, which meant that a lot of his matches had heavy doses of interference. Royal Rumble 1995 was no different. The Undertaker faced Irwin R. Schyster at the 1995 Rumble. It was a very boring match because IRS wasn't even close to being on the same level as Undertaker. There was no heat on IRS when he was on offense. That's why Ted Dibiase as well as some evil druids at ringside were involved in the match. It ended with Undertaker getting the win via Chokeslam. As was usually the case in Undertaker matches during this era, the match result wasn't the end of the story. The druids attacked and then King Kong Bundy showed up to face off with Undertaker. IRS used that distraction to attack Paul Bearer and then he stole the urn with him. Bundy ended up destroying Undertaker to set up their feud. The interesting thing about this Undertaker match against IRS is that he might face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31. Wyatt's the son of IRS. It just shows how long Undertaker has been around.
