7 Things Lucha Underground Got Wrong In Season 2

3. The End Of El Dragon Azteca Jr Vs. Black Lotus?

I'm sure this will all be leading to somewhere fascinating, but boy does this feel underwhelming right now. From the very first episode of the very first season, the story of of Black Lotus and El Dragon Azteca has been a most central part of the show, including the Cueto family themselves.

After EDA took Lotus under his wing in the first season, Black Lotus responded by killing EDA and going on the run with Dario and Matanza. EDA's protege took the legacy, becoming El Dragon Azteca Jr., and as Lotus began to struggle with the weight of her past Dario responded by putting them in a match at Ultima Lucha Dos.

Then, Pentagon Dark came out and broke their arms.

I mean, I love Pentagon coming out and breaking arms, but in this match? This story that has played out over a total of 65 episodes? This simply can't be the end of this story, but it is difficult to see where Pentagon fits into the whole thing.
