7 Things That Must Happen At NXT TakeOver: WarGames

7. A Win For Lars

Lars Sullivan will face his toughest test to date, in the shape of a fired-up Kassius Ohno. Sullivan has obliterated anyone foolish enough to challenge him to date, but he is yet to face an opponent that comes close to him physically. The former Chris Hero might not be Lars Sullivan-big, but he’s no cruiserweight either.

Ohno might have to wrestle like a junior heavyweight to have a chance against Lars however. It would make very little sense for Kassius to pull out the win here, unless the powers-that-be have decided to give up on the Lars Sullivan experiment (spoiler - they haven’t).

This is going to be far and away the most competitive Lars Sullivan match so far, but it absolutely must end with a Freak Accident and another victory for the man with the bizarrely large head. Where both men go from here remains to be seen, but one of them is clearly earmarked for big things. Could an NXT Championship match be in the near future for Lars Sullivan?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
