WWE: 7 Things That Shouldn't Have Happened At WrestleMania 30

1. The Undertaker Shouldn't Have Walked Out After His Match

This is controversial, hence why I saved it for the final page. I think Michael Cole ruined the whole moment with his "The Undertaker is mortal" line after the match. Yes, he lost and the streak was broken. The crowd were in shock and The Undertaker was on the mat for the best part of 5 minutes. For a character like The Undertaker, walking out with his head held high just doesn't seem like the right thing. As it was, the crowd really weren't sure what to do and only a percentage of the crowd gave 'Taker the respect he deserves. Those who were applauding recognised that it was very likely to be the last time any of us see The Undertaker in the ring €“ without the streak, he has no reason to make his annual appearance at WrestleMania. The rest of the crowd were either silent, shouting obscenities or headed for the door. And I think this is reflected in The Undertaker's reaction after the match €“ he looks angry more than anything €“ and I believe it's why he just walked out, rather than holding his fist up as he normally does. He was disappointed in the crowd. And maybe himself, who knows.
But, for The Undertaker, there should have been a special, significant way to highlight that this was his swansong. Maybe as he lay in the ring, the druids appear, collect him from the ring and place him in a casket, which they then set alight. Or even that he gets absorbed into the canvas €“ through a hole and a platform that lowers, obviously €“ and descends to the fiery depths of Hell. Or lightning hits the ring and, as the smoke clears, so has The Undertaker's beaten body. It just needed something other than the image of his broken, battered body taking that walk of shame up the aisle. Something to have created a true WrestleMania moment that would have solidified The Undertaker as one of wrestling's greatest characters, wrestlers and big men of all time. Hall of Fame bound in 2015, no doubt.
