7 Things We Learned From The Evolution Of CM Punk - Episode 2

5. Relocation Was Key

Speaking of relocation, while it was learned months ago that Punk and AJ Lee would be (at least temporarily) relocating from Chicago to Milwaukee, one thing gleaned from the episode is just how key the move was.

Punk puts it in terms of his pro wrestling career, and all the mileage spent on the road week in and week out, traveling from town to town, show to show. Commuting from Chicago to the Milwaukee area each day ate up hours of his time. Ninety minutes in each direction (and no doubt more when traffic was bad). It was the sort of hassle Punk had left the WWE and his pro wrestling career over. He says just that - "I felt like I was wrestling again."

Being closer to his gym allows him to train twice a day, and train harder - something he feels is crucial to his success as a professional fighter.

We'll find out in a few weeks if he was right, but it certainly seems like a smart move on his part.
