7 Things We Learned From WWE Chronicle: Seth Rollins

1. What He Has Left To Prove

The documentary comes to a close with Seth Rollins - rather dimly advertised as Colby Lopez - pitching the first ball to a crowd of about 100 people for Davenport's minor league baseball team, the Quad Cities River Bandits, whilst toasting the release of a brand new bobblehead vaguely in his likeness.

After such a privilege, surely the freakin' fella has nothing left to accomplish in his life? Not so. He rattles off all his career achievements, but calls them mere cherries on top of a cake yet to be baked: main-eventing WrestleMania.

Except, like, he sort of did didn't he? Understandably, Rollins doesn't consider his dramatic 'Mania 31 cash-in the equivalent of heading the marquee before the show, and despite winning this year's Royal Rumble, he raised the curtain as girlfriend Becky closed proceedings. There was no way Brock Lesnar was sticking around the seven hours.

Is there still time for Seth to fulfill his dream? If he's got the strap back come next year's Show of Shows, it's impossible to rule out.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
