Since the WWE Network's launch in North America on 14 February 2014, the company have touted it a must-have for every wrestling fan. Still, despite Raw regularly pulling in 3-4 million viewers weekly, the Network subscriber rate sat at just (still an impressive number) 1.48 million at the tail-end of 2017.

Convincing customers they want more and more content has been an ongoing battle for WWE. It's one they're willing to fight if the recent report is anything to go by.

There, WWE said they expected the number of Network subscribers during the first quarter of 2018 to be around the 1.53 million mark. It's not an unrealistic expectation. It's WrestleMania season, so the usual flurry of subscribers hungry for WWE's most exciting time of the year will flock in.

It's really keeping those fans as regular customers who enjoy the Network after 'Mania that is WWE's problem.
