The Total Diva has quite the athletic past.

Somewhat out of the blue, Dana Brooke made her main roster debut this past Monday night on RAW, joining forces with her NXT teammate Emma in a backstage attack on Becky Lynch.

Brooke wasn't next on most people's lists of ladies to be called up from NXT, but it would seem that her alliance with Emma on the developmental show was instrumental in the decision to call her up.

Now that she has arrived, it is time to take stock and assess the woman who calls herself the 'Total Diva'. A native of Seven Hills, Ohio, Brooke first appeared on World Wrestling Entertainment television at NXT TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way in September 2014, but wouldn't return to our screens until April of 2015.

After defeating Blue Pants in her first TV match, Brooke quickly forged an alliance with fellow NXT villainous lady Emma, and the two were the first obstacle standing in front of Asuka once the Japanese superstar arrived in NXT. This didn't end so well for Dana or Asuka, but the alliance has worked wonders for the careers of both.

Dana now finds herself on the main roster after following her partner there, and the spotlight shining over her is only going to get brighter and brighter.

Here are some facts to get you started when it comes to Dana Brooke.

Most individuals who eventually make their way to the wacky world of professional wrestling will have athletic experience behind them, and Dana Brooke is no different.

Born Ashley Sebera in November 1988, Sebera was encouraged to flip and flop from an early age, starting gymnastics as a two-year-old.

As Sebera tells it her mother took her to the Mon & Tot Classes at the Johnson's Gymnastics Center in Valley View, Ohio at that early age, and from them on gymnastics was her life. She travelled the world for competitions and even took part in the Junior Olympics in 2001.

Sebera did so well as to make the United States National Team with the senior Olympics in mind.

Then, tragedy struck...

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
