7 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Tyler Bate

4. Tyler Plays Drums

In 2008, Dr. Marcus Smith from Chichester University conducted a study into the fitness levels required by those who play drums. During that study, Smith found that an hour of playing the instrument could burn between 400-600 calories, comparable to top athletes.

It's hard to imagine that this is what prompted Tyler Bate to become a drummer during his youth, the young Englishman probably just wanted another outlet for his energy. A little known fact about the man is that he has enjoyed playing drum kit throughout his teenage years, harnessing a specific fondness for the genre of classic rock when he smashes the skins.

A creative soul by nature, Bate has worked hard to improve himself as a pro wrestler. It's unknown whether or not this means his drumming has fallen by the wayside, although it would be difficult to keep a band going when on the road wrestling too.

Classic rock drummers like John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Alex Van Halen (Van Halen, naturally) will surely be firm favourites. Maybe fans will get to see Tyler play drums on WWE TV someday.
