At only 19 years of age, the sheer wealth of talent Tyler Bate has worked with is almost embarrassing. It's a credit to how mature he is for his age that promoters have been willing to throw Tyler in there with more established names, knowing he would excel rather than be overwhelmed by the challenge.

In Preston City Wrestling, Bate faced current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann. That match took place back in 2014, and the next year Tyler was mixing it up with a higher profile champion. Working for the North American independent company Chikara, Bate even faced WWE Champ AJ Styles in a tag-team match in September, 2015.

That was mere months before AJ would explode onto the WWE main roster at the 2016 Royal Rumble.

Aside from champions under the WWE banner, Tyler has also stepped foot in the ring with Cruiserweight stars such as 'Gentleman' Jack Gallagher. Those matches must have been invaluable to Bate's learning process, he was prepared for the WWE stage before even getting there.
