He may be The Perfect Ten, but perfection doesn't win matches it would seem. Tye Dillinger lost his fourth consecutive TakeOver match (fifth if you add in a dark match loss to Sami Zayn in London) last night, yet he still remains one of the most popular performers on the roster. Pro wrestling is extremely bizarre in that respect, in that a competitor can become more and more popular despite doing worse and worse in canon.

As such, Eric Young beating Tye Dillinger was a no brainer. Young is still fairly new to the NXT world and this represents his first major singles win in the company. SAnitY got involved here and there, proving more distracting than destructive, and The Perfect Ten's preoccupation got the better of him in the end.

SAnitY also has the best music on NXT that doesn't have the word 'Glorious' used in the refrain.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
