7 Things WWE Survivor Series 2017 Got Wrong

4. Owen Goal

Finn Balor Shane McMahon
WWE

An inconsequential sequence in a wrestling match shouldn't make you wish Roman Reigns had finished the job when he concussed Shane McMahon a year earlier, but it's said with confidence that if the spoiled rich kid and his spoiled rich kids never appear on television again, it'll still be too soon.

The Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens disdain for Shane was by far the most intriguing aspect to this year's inter-brand battle. The two didn't take part in the original '#UnderSeige' sh*tkicking, nor did they help out their blue show brethren when Raw returned the favour. It made them look fantastic, quite honestly. They were the only ones to ask why they'd help, just as Daniel Bryan was the only one to ask why Shane would attack in the first place. But when they tried to intervene, they looked like utter, utter fools.

Though he won't because he never b*stard does, Shane needs to atone for the various bouts of idiotic arrogance he showed this month. He led a charge that failed. His men and women sustained an unnecessary beating for a cause he never even tried to express. The two that dared to step to him took thrashings with a steel chair as a result. In kayfabe, it makes almost as little sense as it does in reality.
