7 Things WWE Will Continue To Tease But Never Deliver On

2. Daniel Bryan Wrestling Again

It's almost unbelievable how many people actually thought Daniel Bryan's feud with The Miz in late 2016 and early 2017 was headed toward a match between them. All signs seemed to point to it, but the sole purpose that program served was getting more heat on Miz and nothing more.

If WWE actually intended on letting him wrestle again, they wouldn't have had him retire from the ring in the first place. Nowadays, they take that concussion stuff very seriously, and if they didn't clear him for action initially, nothing was going to change a year or two later, regardless of how many doctors outside of WWE tell him he's good to go.

It speaks volumes that WWE won't even allow him to take a bump on TV because they don't want to be held responsible if he suffers a serious injury again. However, that won't stop the company from getting fans riled up over the idea of a match with Miz or getting in the face of Kevin Owens or another heel on the roster.

There's a pretty decent chance Bryan will wrestle again, just not in WWE. Don't think for a second that we'll see him step back inside the squared circle to compete before his contract expires next September.
