7 Things You Didn't Know About Braun Strowman

6. He Made His In-ring Debut Less Than One Year Ago

When Stroman enters the ring, I think it is fair to say we as the audience shouldn't expect a giant Dean Malenko. He is going to be all power, all strength and not much in the way of finesse. Expect punches, throws and other such power moves.

It would be fair to assume this purely down to his size, but Strowman is also very inexperienced when it comes to performing inside the squared circle. He actually made his wrestling debut on December 19th last year, defeated Chad Gable at an NXT live event.

Since then he has had nine matches in total (dark and televised), and whilst he has won them all it isn't fair to expect Ultimo Dragon out of someone with just nine matches under their belt.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
