7 Things You Only Learn From Attending WWE Live

1. "Sold Out" Can Be A Complete Lie

It must be a nightmare for WWE when pictures pop up on social media baring one of their deepest, darkest secrets: that "sold out" claim they regularly make to viewers watching at home isn't always strictly true. Look at the attached pic to see a spotty hard cam side.

There are countless other examples of fans posting snaps on Twitter showing that WWE have bunched crowds together to make the side opposite the camera look full; it has to be depressing for workers when they work towards a camera and see rows upon rows of empty seats.

It's similarly depressing for fans who want a lively atmosphere.

Whereas WrestleMania (or shows of that calibre) can feel like parties, other tapings with dwindling numbers and sparse pockets of people are almost embarrassing. In fairness, this isn't something WWE could be expected to admit on-camera. Nobody can imagine hearing Michael Cole say, "Welcome to a partially full Allstate Arena, folks".
