7 Things You Only Learn From Being Part Of WWE ThunderDome

2. All Sounds Are Piped In

Remember that earlier point about a designated 'host' who directs cheering and booing? Well, it's all 100% visual. This might seem obvious to some, but WWE do not allow fans tuning in via the ThunderDome system to chip in with their own noises.

It's strictly video.

WWE don't offer audio streaming that complements the picture. All microphones are muted in favour of piped-in sounds that are totally controllable from production's side. This is most noticeable when Roman Reigns appears on SmackDown and that 'boo.mp4' file begins pouring out through your speakers.

The same could be said for chants like, "This is awesome". They're nothing to do with the people appearing on those 'Dome screens. On the plus side, it's totally possible to scream your head off or pass comment and not be judged for it.

In fairness to WWE, nobody wants to listen to John from Minnesota telling his dog to quit barking as he orders pizza when Randy Orton is mid-promo.
