6. Triple H's World Title Match With Scott Steiner Was Awful
This is a tough match to watch again because it's remembered as one of the worst World Title matches ever with good reason. Steiner was brought in from WCW as a big name and he was put in a feud with Triple H right away. Steiner sucked as a face, though. He got over in WCW as a heel, so it was different to see him working as a face. Hunter was the heel champ with Ric Flair managing him. They had a really boring 19 minute match that was full of suplexes by Steiner. It's not like suplexes are that bad to watch because they work once in a while, but the crowd just lost interest as this match went on. The reactions were minimal considering it was a World Title match. Sequences like bearhugs were awful. It sounded like the crowd was even booing when Steiner was hitting moves, which is not a good sign. It also looked like Steiner got tired at various points in the match. He looked winded several times. Hunter tried his best to make it a good match, but it just didn't work. Hunter even did a blade job, which wasn't even necessary in a match like this. The whole thing ended with a DQ finish after Hunter used a sledgehammer in front of the ref. WWE thought it would be a good idea to do the match at the next PPV as well. That match sucked too, but this one was worse.
