7 Times AEW Dynamite Made WWE Mistakes

6. Brawls, Brawls, Brawls

Chris Jericho
AEW

AEW's first show was an enjoyable blend of in-ring action and smartly-booked character work, but the old familiar feeling that a Raw or SmackDown often generates crept in as the first hour came to a close.

SCU and The Lucha Brothers had to be separated from fighting on the stage, just after the Hybrid 2 had to be chased away from decking Jay & Silent Bob (and the less said about that vapid non-moment the better) by Private Party, just after Chris Jericho had to be pulled away from battering Cody further.

All a bit silly and samey, even if it fed into a far stronger second hour with matches and moments that actually mattered.
