This was legitimately sh*tty, if you happened to be hyped over the prospect of seeing an actual six-man tag team match between The Elite, Santana, Ortiz and Chris Jericho. There was less than four minutes of trios action before 'The Death Rider' struck and the (incredible) fight was on.
Ultimately, the placement and choice to have Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega battle out of the match left the babyfaces in trouble in it.
Trying to have their cake and eat it too, AEW had derailed the match but were content to give it a a finish anyway. In order to at least try and deliver what they'd promised, the show went on...which itself wasn't really ideal...
