7 Times John Cena Was A Terrible Human
3. RIP Batista
At Over The Limit 2010, John Cena defended his WWE title against one of his greatest challengers, Batista, in an I Quit match. If you've made it this far into the article then you are aware of the rules of an I Quit match, but if not here we are; basically you scuffle until one of the two competitors has had enough and utters the words 'I Quit'. Of course, 9/10 it is the heel that does so and there's usually a way out of it all. On this night in 2010, Cena managed to get Batista to say the words by threatening to give him the Attitude Adjustment off of a car onto the stage. Taking such a fall would have certainly done long term damage to Batista, so Dave wisely got out of dodge and took the loss. Cena had won the battle.
But this wasn't enough for our hero John Cena, a man who must rise above hate. Oh no. Even though he had won the match with his threat, even though he had caused his incredibly proud opponent to audibly give up, he still proceeded to throw Batista off the car onto the steel below.
Much like dropping the chairs onto Barrett, this was a completely unnecessary attack and shows Cena's awful, awful side. An act of violence out of nothing more than pure malice, a desire to cause serious harm to another human being, is this the act of a man we want to look up to? Batista, subsequently quit the next night. His acting career has been something of a success however, which is something that can't be said for ol' Cena. Karma works in strange ways.
