For the past sixteen years, Triple H's weapon of choice has been a sledgehammer. While other superstars have been content to use steel chairs to hurt opponents or cheat their way to victory, The Game clearly prefers to take a more dangerous, potentially life-threatening, approach. Initially, the company had Triple H use a rubber sledgehammer, leading to unrealistic situations where HHH would deliver blows his opponents couldn't possibly survive in a legitimate sense. After he accidentally concussing The Undertaker with the fake sledgehammer, though, WWE higher-ups decided that it would be easier if Triple H just dished out worked shots with a real hammer.
