7 Times Vince McMahon Thought WWE's Royal Rumble Sucked

6. The Second Women's Rumble

Around 30 years later, WWE finally felt comfortable enough to let women in on some of the fun. The first ever female Rumble happened in 2018, and it's memorable for Asuka's win, Ronda Rousey's post-match debut and the sheer historical value of it all. The next year wasn't quite so well-received backstage.

Vince was left seething at the 2019 update.

The second women's Rumble wasn't quite as smooth as its predecessor, and it lacked the show-closing uniqueness of 12 months earlier. That wasn't why McMahon didn't like it though. He reportedly swore like a trooper as certain women kicked the arse out of planned spots (causing a few of the intervals between entrants to be longer than two minutes) and chewed out production supremo Kevin Dunn for his choice of camera angles throughout.

Anyone close to McMahon and Dunn behind the curtain or in the truck probably ended up regretting it when the match was over. Angry Vince was angry.
