Curse those fans and their self-appointed heroes for ruining the 2015 Rumble's conclusion.

That, if he was being honest, was likely Vinnie Mac's reaction when Philadelphia booed the sh*t out of Roman Reigns and The Rock for daring not to be Daniel Bryan. The people had spoken, and they wanted D-Bry; they weren't willing to accept anything else, and that's why Roman and Rocky (who looked dumbfounded) were jeered big time as they celebrated.

After the show, McMahon cannot have been thrilled when #CancelWWENetwork started trending across social media. His new subscription service was approximately four months old at that point, and it needed all the support it could get. Instead, thousands of fans turned against the product and claimed WWE weren't pushing the wrestlers they wanted to see.

Vince had hand-picked Reigns to receive a mega-push heading into WrestleMania 31, and it can't have felt good for the boss to hear his core audience spurn the idea. Bryan fever hadn't lessened since 2014, and WWE, Reigns, The Rock and McMahon found that out first hand.
