7 Times WWE Had Mixed Gender Tag Matches at WrestleMania
3. The Boogeyman Vs. Booker T & Sharmell (WrestleMania 22)
Few have had as interesting a WWE career as Marty "The Boogyman" Wright. Originally auditioning on Tough Enough, he broke into the business at 40 years old, got the attention of the company because of his look, was given a gimmick Vince was enamored with, and even after an underwhelming run due to injuries, still shows up on programming as a legend. I wouldn't mind that.
What I would mind is wrestling Booker T and Sharmell in a three minute handicap match.
Given the length and Boogeyman's lack of skill, this match had little going for it in terms of spots. It's mostly known for the sequence where Boogey kisses Sharmell with a mouth full of worms (oh, Vince). What's sad is that you can't even say this was Sharmell's worst match, as three years later, she would have her negative 5-star anti-classic with Jenna Morasca at a TNA Victory Road 2009.
Leave it to that company to have something even more embarrassing than a woman eating worms.
