WWE Champion Daniel Bryan was feuding with Kane after WrestleMania earlier last year and the two had a match at Extreme Rules. As a way to build it up, Kane was doing anything he could to go after Bryan (as well as Bryan's real-life wife Brie Bella). With Bryan at ringside, Kane's music and pyro went off while Brie was in a match with Paige. Bryan stood outside the ring looking for Kane, but he wasn't in the aisle. He was under the ring. Kane broke through the bottom of the ring, then grabbed Brie by the foot. Bryan went into the ring and kicked Kane. He ended up dragging Brie some more, but Bryan was on top of him again. After Kane knocked Bryan out of the ring, he stalked Brie. Kane grabbed her by the ring to take her to the hole, but Bryan was able to come back and nail Kane with a wrench but Kane rallied and levelled Bryan with a chokeslam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1Ay_Q_k_io Kane grabbed Brie again and looked like he was going to take her under the ring again, but she kicked away to break free. Kane didn't follow her because once people get out of the ring, and thus out of the proximity of hell, what's the point?
