7 Tips For Interacting With WWE Stars On Twitter

7. Don't Insult Them. They're Sensitive!

WWE.comWWE.comYou would think that if you're WWE superstar or diva that you would have thick skin by this point, but that isn't always the case. A couple of years ago, Batista (@DaveBautista) was fairly new to Twitter and he seemed to be enjoying it by cracking jokes about a lot of things. I figured there would be nothing wrong if I tweeted a harmless joke to him. One day he posted some pic of an outfit he had on and it was just bizarre like a lot of things he wears. I said something about "what kind of grandpa dresses like that?" in a joking way with a LOL at the end of it. How did he respond? He blocked me. Sensitive guy! Perhaps I was out of line by mentioning that he was a grandfather because then it sort of brings his family into it, but I meant no harm by it. It was all in good fun. That's the thing, though. You never know how they're going to react. What's funny to you and your friends may not be to them. Be careful what you say and who you say it too. Check their timeline. See if they make jokes. A guy like Dolph Ziggler (@HeelZiggler) makes a lot of them. Others don't.
