The top guys get so many mentions per day (in the hundreds or even thousands) that they may not reply for days at a time. What you need to do is try to catch them at the right time when they're replying to others and try to mention stuff that they may not talk about all the time. The great Steve Austin (@steveaustinbsr) is used to hearing about WrestleMania 17 against The Rock or WrestleMania 13 against Bret Hart. Ask him about something else. They may be more likely to reply to you if you're creative about what you're mentioning to them and how you go about it. Maybe if you tweeted him about the NFL he'd reply to ya. You never know. It's the same thing when you meet them in person. They have heard about their most famous match enough times. Talk about the ones that they might not know as well and you might get more of a response.
