4. Being Funny Is A Good Idea

Big E TwitterEarlier I mentioned that it's okay to be funny with the right people, but that not everybody reacts to the humor the same way. It has to be the right person. Former WWE personality Lance Storm (@LanceStorm) is pretty good on Twitter, but he's not the funniest guy. Try jokes with him and it might work out great. Others are better at it. When CM Punk (@CMPunk) was in WWE he would have periods where he was the best wrestler on Twitter because he would reply to fans, retweet things and generally have a good time. You could tell he enjoyed it. Now that he's "retired" he barely posts anything. A big part of the reason why people liked him in the first place was because of how funny he was. As somebody that An underrated funny wrestler on Twitter is Big E (@WWEBigE). He posts a lot of funny things whether it's about himself, the company or just random things in his life. When I see that sort of thing it makes me wonder why WWE wouldn't do something to make his on air persona more fun because he can be pretty hilarious when he gets going. Dolph Ziggler's always tweeting jokes too. He's one of the better ones for sure. The wrestling business is a joke in a lot of ways and the people in it should be able to joke about it. That's why you shouldn't be afraid to joke about it with them.
