7 TNA Gimmicks WWE Should Steal

6. The British Invasion

Nobody who has paid attention to UK wrestling over the past 20 years needs any introduction to Doug Williams. A veteran long before TNA picked him up, Williams became the focal point of the British Invasion faction alongside Magnus and Rob Terry. It was another one of those excellent ideas TNA didn't fully capitalise on.

The Invasion came across as snooty, arrogant Brits who believed their style of wrestling was superior to that of any other team in the company. This aloof presentation is one WWE could easily lift and paste over the top of anyone from the United Kingdom ranks.

Trent Seven and Tyler Bate (who have worked together extensively as Moustache Mountain) would be perfect for the role. If they enlisted a larger man like Wolfgang to play the Terry role and 'invaded' NXT, it'd give these guys something to do on TV.

That's got to be better than sitting on the sidelines.
