7 TNA Gimmicks WWE Should Steal

5. Jay Lethal's Black Machismo

Jay Lethal has worked hard to turn himself into one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet, and that dedication deserves to be recognised with a WWE run. Lethal has shown countless times in TNA, ROH and beyond that he'd be a major asset to NXT, for example, and it's about time he was given the chance.

Why not introduce him slowly to the casual WWE audience as a dude who can do a killer 'Macho Man' Randy Savage impression?

The 'Black Machismo' gimmick Lethal played in TNA was a riot and is still remembered to this day. Jay was damn good at being Savage, so much so that Randy reportedly phoned him to say how much he enjoyed watching the parody.

By paying tribute to a legend, WWE would be focusing eyes on classic Network content and paving the way for Lethal to eventually shed the gimmick so he can become a serious wrestler. Besides, who doesn't want to see NXT GM William Regal's face when 'Black Machismo' cuts that introductory promo?
