7 Triple H Matches We Need To See In 2016
4. Shane McMahon

One of WWE's most compelling stories at present is the internal power struggle between Vince McMahon, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and Shane McMahon. This is interesting not just because of the on-screen personalities and kayfabe history between the four of them, but also because it is based on some genuine real-life feelings and animosity.
You see, apparently Shane genuinely was a little big peeved when Vince decided to groom Hunter and Steph to take over the reigns once he'd gone. Shane, as Vince's eldest and a WWE employee since the mid-90s, probably felt as though it was his birthright and that he should have had a little bit more say in the matter than he did.
Shane left the company in 2009 but shockingly returned earlier this year in order to work a match at WrestleMania. His return was so well-received that he's stuck around and acted as interim GM in the absence of The Authority in recent weeks and looks set to be a character going forward.
This storyline looks like it's going to continue to play out, with some major developments seemingly set to happen at Payback. Is a brand split on the horizon? Is Shane going to be the permanent on-screen authority figure moving forward? Or is Vince going to put his kid in another match say, against Triple H, with control of Raw and Smackdown on the line?
A match between the two would draw interest and would probably be entertaining, too, so long as it was dressed up with stipulations and gimmicks (such as an I Quit or Last Man Standing match).
