3. AJ Styles

AJ Styles will headline his first WWE special event/pay-per-view this Sunday when he goes one-on-one with Roman Reigns at Payback, with the WWE World Heavyweight Title on the line. Who would have thunk it, eh?

Even though he arrived in the company with much fanfare and is reportedly on big money, there was an underlying fear that he would get lost in the shuffle and not used to his full potential. A combination of low ratings, injuries and other factors have led WWE to book The Phenomenal One against the Big Dog this Sunday.

This could be a star-making feud and match for Styles and bigger and better things could lie in his future, namely a match against Triple H. As far as storyline goes, it's a difficult one to predict, but perhaps something to do with the recent arrivals of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and the impending main roster debut of Finn Balor could have something to do with it...

Whatever they're fighting over, the match itself would doubtless be superb. Both are premier performers and two of the best wrestlers in the business and could have a genuine classic under the right circumstances.

If AJ is going to have longevity in Vince McMahon's company, he's going to need to get some more big, blockbuster matches under his belt. They don't come much bigger than a PPV showdown with The Game.
